Farm stay pod projects near Middleham

A Middleham-area rural scheme should be designed around the existing activities of the holding and nearby land. Private accommodation needs a clear arrival route, but also suitable servicing without disrupting agricultural operations.

If the intended plot is elevated or accessed by a narrow lane, check unloading and turning early. The first-phase layout should show parking, screening, water, wastewater and electricity, with relevant countryside planning checks completed for the exact plot.

For an initial site discussion: Share photos of the site and approach route plus the initial standard or family pod count.

Official information: Review general planning permission guidance. Check what applies to the actual land before relying on any general guidance.
